good morning! oh it seems like everyday is halloween for lady gaga ... she showed up to 13th annual ACE (accessories council excellence) awards last night in NYC with yet another totally bizarre zombie-like outfit - what kind of fuckery is this? what's up with the white powder all over her? gaga looks like she was rolling around at kate moss' party pad before she arrived! i can appreciate gaga's over the top costumes but i think she needs to calm her artsy ass down and take a chill pill - it's all a little too much! however as much as she annoys me sometimes - i am totally loving her new single bad romance which has been on repeat in my ipod - the song is super hot and will probably be yet another #1 hit for her! i still can't believe how huge she has become ... i was writing about her here on popbytes long before anybody knew who she was - now everyone knows who lady gaga is - including my own mom! here's a brand new wax figure of spanish stud antonio banderas (age 49) which was unveiled recently over in madrid, spain! now as far as wax figures go - this is definitely one of the better ones i've seen! (i still say the title for the worst wax figures ever totally belongs to leanne rimes and lindsay lohan) they need to hurry up and waxify wife melanie griffith to stand by his side - i can't believe they're still together after over 13 years - i do adore her (you must see cecil b. demented if you haven't) but she must be messy handful to deal with! popbytes over & out for tonight ... xoxo
good evening - we made it through monday! i always thought mormons were all buttoned up & straight-laced but these ladies are definitely not your mom's mormons ... a group of mormon moms are being featured in a new 2010 controversial calendar from mormons exposed called hot mormon muffins: a taste of motherhood featuring the worshipers of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints scantily clad with a different muffin recipe for each month - how very handy! i don't know that much about their church or religion but i can't imagine that church leaders are jumping for joy over this endeavor (this is from the same people who make the men on a mission calendar) perhaps these ladies might not be mormons for much longer? popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

good morning! a few weeks ago i had the pleasure of seeing juliette lewis in concert down at the el rey (check out my videos over on vimeo) it was my second time seeing her up on stage rocking out (the first time was at the roxy) and as expected she kicked total ass! usually i'm not a big fan of actors/actresses trying to do the music crossover thing but ms. lewis is the real deal - she's a rock star and has such an excellent stage presence - she's not to be missed live! you must check out her new album terra incognita - it's good stuff and i especially love the first single fantasy bar which you can listen to below - plus there's a hot video to watch! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
good afternoon! did everyone have a fun and safe halloween? i went to this crazy party downtown - and i got some amazing pictures and video from the photo pit of major lazer and basement jaxx (i'll be posting them soon!) anyways i've got a bunch of running around to do today - so here's the brand new jay-z video for the hot single empire state of mind off his latest album the blueprint 3 and features the lovely and talented alicia keys (who has a new album due out on december 15th called the elements of freedom) i absolutely love this song and it reminds me how much i miss and adore new york city - there's simply no other city quite like it! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
hey kids - happy halloween! oh i had to laugh out loud when i saw these pictures of wacky d-list actress bai ling out and about last night in NYC - supposedly dressed as famed pop art figure andy warhol - i don't really see any resemblance at all - plus when you have to write on your stomach and the back of your jacket who you are just like ms. ling did (along with the phrase kiss my ass) then you've obviously got the costume all wrong! she looks more like a braless mad scientist than mr. warhol - what a dumb ass! so what's everyone doing tonight? this evening i'm heading downtown to hard haunted mansion which is a huge 'rave' party - with DJ sets from justice and basement jaxx along with performances from major lazer and crookers (and more!) it should be a good time - luckily i've got a photo/media pass (many thanks to my pal sheena beaston) so i'll take plenty of pictures and send lots of tweets! please be careful tonight - with halloween landing on a saturday - i know things are going to be extra crazy this year! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
