good morning everyone! i totally thought the latest cover of STAR magazine would be all about michael jackson but i was pleasantly surprised to see an update on hollywood's best and worst beach bodies - there's just a small mention of a possible custody battle looming over michael's three children (hold on tight everybody ... this legal saga for sure will go on for months especially because there could potentially be loads of money at stake ... only if his assets gets handled properly) kim kardashian is featured as having one of the best beach bodies around - i must agree! girlfriend does have an incredible body - she's not too big or small - kim's just about right and has girly curves in all the right places! as for the worst bodies ... kate gosselin's saggy mom ass is way more attractive than the nastiness i posted on last night! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
LINDSAY LOHAN CELEBRATES HER 23RD BIRTHDAY IN A BIKINI (LAS VEGAS, 06/27/09)
ok ... so this is a completely random post - it has zero relation with anything to do with entertainment but i couldn't pass on tossing up these pictures i took myself last friday! i happen to work across the street from grauman's chinese theatre - michael jackson's walk of fame star happens to be right out front - i was snapping pictures of people gathering to pay their respects ... my buddy jesse noticed this truck heading east on hollywood blvd - in the back of it was all this nasty looking meat, chicken and seafood scraps! we were all SHOCKED after seeing the pictures up close! the really scary part is - you'd never have known what the truck was carrying unless you were looking down from above like i happened to be - there was no cover on the stench it plus it was pretty hot outside - this gross truck just looks like one big ass health code violation - it literally made me sick to my stomach! could you imagine the truck had an accident and all those scraps spilled all over the street?!? it's beyond disgusting - and witnessing it definitely made me think about where my meat comes from (has anyone seen food inc. yet?) check out the pictures below - only if you can bear it - this is by far the most unglamorous thing i've ever seen on the blvd! that's saying a lot - trust me - there are many moments that lack glamour here in hollywood on a daily basis - i've seen some crazy shit go down in and around my neighborhood! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

good morning! did you ever wonder how many legos it would take to make a replica of troubled singer amy winehouse? well, wonder no more ... UK model maker craig stevens used 12,500 lego pieces to create a life-size figure of ms. winehouse! (and he joked the legos probably weigh more than the real thing) amy is still hanging out down in st. lucia (with lots of dogs) trying to put together a follow-up album to her award-winning release back to black (still one of my favorite albums) although things seem to be moving really slowly - i'm still holding onto a very small shred of hope she can actually get her shit together but i'm not holding my breath! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
good evening y'all! i was seriously dreading going back to work this morning but somehow i managed to get through today and thankfully i have off on friday - so at least it's short week! anyways right now i've got mariah carey who was in NYC today shooting a video at the plaza hotel for her new single obsessed (directed by brett ratner) off her upcoming album memoirs of an imperfect angel (the cover is below - it hits stores on august 25th) i really wish ms. carey had been at the BET awards last night - it would have been awesome for her to sing i'll be there ... instead of super lame host jamie foxx who did nothing but annoy the hell out of me the whole evening - i thought the entire show was pretty terrible (producers obviously didn't have a lot of time to put together a proper tribute) the highlight was definitely seeing janet jackson issue a brief statement on behalf of the entire jackson family (the low point was seeing creepy dad joe jackson being all shifty mccoy on the red carpet) i'm sure there will be another tribute to michael jackson - and ms. carey better be involved somehow - i simply love her version of that song! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

good morning! after listening to michael jackson non-stop since his untimely death this past thursday - i simply had to post this incredible megamix i came across featuring sixteen of his best tracks all mixed into one amazing medley! the past few days have been beyond surreal - i certainly never thought mr. jackson's passing would affect me as much as it has - i've been really sad & reflective over the past few days but on the other hand listening to all his music and watching his videos has definitely put a smile on my face - he'd totally want us to celebrate - rather than mourn! i know he's in a better place right now - i can't thank him enough for all that he left us - my gosh - his musical legacy is truly legendary! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

oh my gosh! i've had a crush on john stamos for as long as i can remember - everyone had a thing for 'uncle jesse' on full house (he was also cute on general hospital as 'blackie parrish') thankfully mr. stamos has aged really well - at age 45 he's still sexy as ever (he turns 46 in august) plus according to denise richards he's really good in the bedroom - i'm very surprised someone else hasn't snatched him up ... he split with rebecca romijn back in 2005! (oh i hope i'm not giving newly single vanessa minnillo ideas - i can't believe she's already trying to sink her teeth into cutie topher grace!) normally i do my weekly just because he's cute post on friday evenings but everything got backed up by all the sad news - so please enjoy the pictures of john at madeo restaurant the other night in west hollywood ... just because he's cute! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
how's everybody holding up? i'm still having trouble with the unexpected passing of michael jackson (i know there are cynics out there but i'm not having any of that here on popbytes) i've been listening to his music non-stop - i've got his videos playing on one TV (the other is tuned to CNN) i also keep thinking about how i would sometimes make snarky swipes at him for being so bizarre - there's no question that he danced to the beat of a very different drummer - but who am i to be so judgmental? his sudden death took me by complete surprise (along with everyone else i know) i guess hindsight is always 20/20 - i'm glad to know he'll always be remembered for the incredible musical legacy he left us - icons like michael jackson are few & far between ... i can't even imagine anyone ever being able to top his superstar status! i'm grateful to have been witness to part of his brilliant career - my only regret is not having seen him perform live! i figured if his comeback shows went off without a hitch - he'd bring the tour here eventually but sadly we'll never know what might have been! make sure to visit time magazine's comprehensive web coverage - below is the commemorative cover being released on monday - i love the shot selected - taken by famed photographer herb ritts - i'm so going to pick myself up a copy - i still can't believe he's really gone! popbytes over & out for tonight ... xoxo
