A PSA for the Kardashians (and others like ’em!)

Jenners and Kardashians

Jenners and Kardashians

Hello? Is thing thing on?

*Tap tap* Okay good. Now then … *Clears throat*

Get off your f*cking phones. Get off your phones when you’re having dinner with friends and family. Get off your phones when you’re at a funeral. Get off your phones when you’re at work. Get off your phones when you’re in a meeting. Get off your phone every time you feel bored. And especially, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, get off your f*cking phones when they’re having a moment of silence for Ferguson at the MTV VMAs, especially if cameras are pointed right at you!

When the camera cut to Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, fans caught the trio texting on their phones looking bored instead of respecting the tribute. Needless to say, the world wasn’t pleased with the Kardashian klan. Twitter users tweeted their disgust with the reality stars, using pictures of them tweeting and captioning them with jokes or mean comments. SOURCE

Part of me actually doesn’t blame them, because at this point we’re so conditioned to check our phones constantly that it almost feels like shooting fish in a barrel filled with millions of other entitled fish. But on the other hand, they were having a moment of silence for a serious civil rights issues currently happening in the US, and are you honest to gawd telling me that you find the shooting of an unarmed kid so utterly monotonous that you couldn’t put your phone down for a couple minutes? You unbelievable bag of buttered assholes.
