Weird factoid of the day: David Guetta‘s collaboration with Sia, “Titanium,” is to date his biggest critical success and one of the best charting dance songs ever, and yet no one knows who Sia is. The weirdest part: It’s because she refuses to appear in any of the videos for her collaborations with Guetta. I know, totally odd. In “Titanium,” Sia was replaced by a kid with psychic powers, and for the new video for “She Wolf,” she’s been replaced by what appears to be Amaterasu from Okami. (And before anyone says “Oh, but Amaterasu was a sun God who took the form of a Japanese White Wolf and nyeh nyeh nyehhhhhhh!” Seriously? Don’t be that person.)
Anyway, the song is once again pretty good, as Sia is one of the few modern pop stars whose voice can actually compete with David’s bombastic production, but still, it’s a shame she doesn’t want to appear in any of these videos.
