If you’ve never read Mockingjay (and really, you should: It’s a dark, well-written narrative about power and politics that somehow remains accessible enough for teenagers to read) a big part of the book is propaganda, and how it’s used by the elite to trick the poor into killing each other for their benefit. So continuing along the lines of the last Hunger Games teaser, here’s the second installment which finds the inhabitants of District 13 hacking into a broadcast for the sake of their own agenda. Once again: This is one of the smartest, most accessible franchises out there, and I know three people who assume it’s a Twilight knock-off. What the eff.
