French cosmetics giant Lancôme has chosen Emma Watson as its new spokesmodel, the news dropped via twitter by the Harry Potter actress after a series of cleverly rhyming tweets led into the final reveal. The company has been represented by Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, model Shalom Harlow, and countless other celebrities others but at only twenty, Watson will be the youngest brand ambassadress thus far! In a statement Lancôme’s International President Youcef Nabi said, “Thanks to her charm, romanticism, and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme.” I think Emma is madly appropriate for this, looking at her work with Burberry (pictured below) plus her editorial spreads, she was made to be photographed, I’m truly anticipating the first ads to be shot by Mario Testino.
