In the words of Nicki Minaj in Saxon, “Fashion Week in Paris was nice, every designer had my size”. Ok, maybe not so much the latter – but it was pretty epic. I managed to make it to the launch event of the capsule collection and screening of the short film, Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld, at a stunning palace villa on Rue du Quatre Septembre along with Janet Jackson, Anna Wintour and Unkle Karl himself. Then partied at Maxim’s with none other than Nicola Formichetti (readers of KARLISMYUNKLE.COM know how much respect I have for Nicola) and Leigh Lezark. In a word, Paris Fashion Week was epic. To wrap things up, one of my favourite photographers, Terry Richardson, has been generating a little bit more buzz than normal this week with a saucy photo of fashion icon Marc Jacobs from British Vogue, where a “stream of water” is shooting out from between his legs – we love it here, not sure how LV feels about it though! As you avid Popbytes readers have already seen, Terry also shot the cover of Candy magazine featuring hottie James Franco in drag!
