So having met my “adopted unkle”, Karl Lagerfeld a couple of times last year (albeit rather informally) the time has finally come where I am working with the Kaiser himself – on the launch of his Diet Coke collaboration, taking place next Thursday in Paris. Lagerfeld has designed three stunning new bottles and limited range of accessories for the brand.
In addition to designing new Diet Coke bottles, Unkle Karl has shot the new campaign commercial featuring supermodels Coco Rocha, Heidi Mount and Jeneil Williams, which we will be unveiling in Paris. The bottles were inspired by the Diet Coke puppets (Bernadette, Eleanor and Irene) appearing in the TV campaign, and represent the three distinct looks of the models and how they complement each other.
