Hollywood’s leading men have to undergo intense training anywhere from three to six months for a major action role — if you’re a little bitch like Hugh Jackman, Bradley Cooper or Ryan Reynolds. Kellan Lutz? Not so much.
The actor was given less than a week to get in Hercules shape. No problem, brah!
“I love being physical. I’m very active in life, that’s my lifestyle,” he told MTV News.
Since being swole is like his life and stuff, he didn’t really need to get in shape for the part. Kellan always looks like he could crash through a wall at any moment. HULK SMASH!
He wasn’t totally prepared, however. He did have to learn how to ride it. A horse, that is:
“I had to learn how to be an expert or look like an expert horse-rider, sword-wielder, spear-thrower, stunts-choreographer,” he said. “It was just a lot compiled into not many days.”
The Legend of Hercules opens today, Friday January 10th.
