goldfrapp rocked los angeles!

hey everybody! oh my word – thanks to my friends over at mute records i was able to see goldfrapp last night over at the wiltern – i am a bit tired today but it was all worth it – lead singer allison goldfrapp ruled the stage – i couldn’t believe her voice – it was heavenly & studio perfect! i arrived about 8:30 and waited and waited & waited for them to come on which i am guessing must have been around 10pm – by that time i had been standing up for so long all cramped in a massively cute & quite queer crowd – i just wanted to see them come on soon and then boom my second wind kicked in as the band took to the stage and their electronic beats and grooves filled the theater topped off with ms. goldfrapp’s amazing vocals!

they played past hits like ‘slide in’ and played a bunch of tracks off their new album ‘supernature’ – they had two awesome female dancers who donned different masks like wolf heads and horse heads which were employed during my personal favorite song ‘ride on a white horse’ – the crazy part though is cameras are supposedly not allowed but everyone was taking a ton of pics – so i snapped what i could – below is a sampling…not too shabby for concert pics! anyways i will be back later – popbytes over & out for now! xxoo!
