Sure, sometimes we joke about Gwyneth Paltrow‘s love of wholesome food and overly-expensive clothing, but we do actually like her. So it actually made us sad to hear her open up about a miscarriage she suffered a couple years back that almost killed her. Via Access Hollywood …
“I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here, or should we go back and try again?’” she explained. The actress credits her Coldplay rocker husband, 36, for standing beside her during life’s tough choices. “We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support,” she told the mag. “[Chris] is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you.” Adding, “Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father.”
I can’t imagine how much it must hurt to have to go through something like that, but at least Gwyneth had her family around to get her through it. And I’m assuming having your own pizza oven in your backyard makes cooking comfort food a breeze. (Yeah, that was the closest I could come to writing an actual joke. I know, it’s not A-material, but given the subject matter … yeah.)
