‘hurrah’ – the new scissor sisters DVD!

good evening! i had a lovely day running around – i finally took myself to the semi-new diesel store on melrose & orlando – which i totally fell in love with – it sure beats dealing with the beverly center or going to santa monica – plus i picked up a cute light blue shirt – long sleeved – since it’s getting just a drop cooler – especially at night! then i came and did something super exciting…i cleaned out my filing cabinet which was a total disaster zone – now i actually have space to file important things – you wouldn’t believe the amount of crap that was stored in there – it’s all shredded & gone – woo hoo!

for tonight i wanted to bring your attention to the upcoming DVD release from one of my favorite bands scissor sisters (join them on myspace) it’s called hurrah – a year of ta-dah – featuring a forty minute documentary chronicling the bands’ world travels while on tour with their second album ta-dah – along with a full length concert from london – of course there are a few extras including all four videos released for the album – although we’ll have to wait – the DVD doesn’t hit stores until nov 12th (in the UK – on amazon right now it says it’ll be out nov 6th here in the states) the artwork is posted below which really caught my eye – it was designed by drew struzan who also made posters for both the star wars & indiana jones franchises! (check out his website – he has worked a lot!)

tomorrow it’s back to the daily grind – i’m going to settle into the new episode of desperate housewives – i’m loving the 4th season already – dana delany & nathan fillion are both great additions to ‘wisteria lane’ – and gosh how evil is ‘edie’ played by nicolette sheridan?!? popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo!
