‘Jersey Shore’ may have been ripped off!

Oh look, people are fighting over who created MTV’s Jersey Shore, and surprisingly, it’s so that they can lay claim to it, instead of pointing out who we should tie to a stake and throw stones at. Seriously, did you know they’re considering listing the show as a war crime now?

The writer, Christopher Gambale, claims he came up with a show called “Guidos: The Reality Series” back in 2006 which would focus on “stereotypical guidos and guidettes” doing things like “GTL before hitting the clubs.” Dude says he pitched the idea to MTV … but never got a response — until he sent them a letter threatening to sue. Yes, because pointing a camera at orange, spikey-haired date-rapists is the most original idea ever. It’s not like Maury Povich ever made a shit-ton of money off of this concept. On that note, I just came up with the idea of making a car that flies. Anybody who steals my idea will be sued for millions upon millions of dollars because that’s how laws work!
