Kings Of Leon Vs. ‘Glee’!

In what can really only be described as the most insane feud I’ve ever heard, Glee creator Ryan Murphy told Kings Of Leon to fuck off for refusing to let them use their song on the show, which is still a decision I can respect. So of course, they fired back by being misogynist and homophobic because that’s just how they do.

Here’s how Nathan Followill, the drummer of the band of brothers, replied via Twitter: “Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go. See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra. Zip your lip and focus on educating 7yr olds how to say fuck.” Murphy is openly gay, and the show deals with many issues faced by homosexual students in high school. Realizing how his comments could be seen, Followill later tweeted: “I’m sorry 4 anyone that misconstrued my comments as homophobic or misogynistic. I’m so not that kind of person. I really do apologize.” SOURCE

While I don’t think the comment was necessarily a calculated slam against women and gays, I do think it was pretty stupid. I also think Kings of Leon couldn’t be any more overrated if they were called ‘Vampire Animal Weekend Collective’, but hey, that’s just me.
