hey hey! don’t forget that lily allen‘s album alright, still gets a proper US release on jan 30th! i’m very curious to see how she’ll sell in the states – i love the album (which landed in my top ten of ’06) but i’m not sure if it’ll fly like it did in the UK (it was the 27th top selling album in the UK last year) supposedly her hit song ‘smile’ was released to radio stations here but i haven’t heard it – has anyone else heard lily on the radio recently? she’ll have gotten a lot of mileage out of her debut album – i’m already wondering what she’ll do for an encore! check out lily singing three songs live below on jools holland‘s annual UK new year’s eve party called the ‘hootenanny’ – popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
