little boots vs. BEP … halfway earthquake

FROM DJ PAUL V.
Last night here in LA, we got treated to a dazzling live performance by London’s Little Boots, and we were all ready to dance! Aside from a seriously mind-blowing laser show, Miss Boots gave us everything we adore in cosmic, electro-pop: Gorgeous voice, big beats, bigger melodies, and sing-along choruses. Not to mention an epic, piano/voice version of Kate Bush‘s Running Up That Hill as an encore, that had us mesmerized! Why Little Boots is not up there on the pop charts with tarts like Ke$ha is a crime. So here’s Earthquake, one of the many fabulous singles from her just-released Hands CD, and it melds beautifully with Meet Me Halfway from Black Eyed Peas. It was created by DJ Maggie Mash, a new (and kind of mysterious) mash maker who’s been blowing us away with her skills. Give Little Boots some love and maybe we can help break her in a seismic way in the US, too!
