Miley Cyrus’ new music video is … appropriate?

Look, I usually don’t judge people for their sex lives, unless I think they’re just exploiting it for a little face time. I mean hell, look at me; it’s my goddamn job! Which is why Miley Cyrus‘ (who does turn 18 soon) new music video for her single Who Owns My Heart makes me feel weird. And not just weird in the Oh shit, am I a statutory rapist for watching this? way.

Here’s the thing: Teens are sluts. All of them. Even the weird virginal ones have sex on their minds constantly. Seriously, all my girlfriends growing up in the suburbs of Montreal? Fucking their boyfriends constantly. So anyone who thinks teens aren’t doing it is clearly delusional.

That being said, I don’t need to see it happening. Look, have all the sex you want. (Wear condoms while you do it.) But please please please do not have weird, underage sex in public like this. That’s all I ask. Have all the safe, teenage sex you want, just please don’t do it in front of me. (Or in a music video!) Cool beans? Cool beans.
