Moby’s “The Perfect Life” (with Wayne Coyne)

Tonight Moby is putting on the last of his three shows here in Los Angeles at The Fonda, and thankfully I will be there to witness it live. Just based on what I’ve read on Twitter over the past few days, it sounds like it’s going to be an incredible show (with special guests Skylar Grey, Cold Specks, Damien Jurado and Inyang Bassey). The first part of Moby’s set will focus on his (excellent) eleventh studio album, Innocents (iTunes), which just dropped this past Tuesday. Then the second part will be a bunch of his greatest hits (he better play “We Are All Made of Stars”), I know it’s going to be a huge dance party and I cannot wait. Check out his latest video for “The Perfect Life,” featuring Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips. I’ve been a fan of Moby for what seems like forever and he always puts on a great show (the last time I saw him was back in 2009), I have a feeling tonight will be an epic evening!

PS Moby’s show will be streaming live tonight, you can watch it here!

the idea for ‘the perfect life’ video is pretty simple… wayne and i in mariachi costumes walking around l.a picking up a very random and disparate bunch of disenfranchised oddballs and leading them via trolley to a giant party on a roof overlooking l.a while the sun sets.
