natasha bedingfield – on fire!

hey kids! happy august to all – and so why not kick-start the month with a new music recommendation – so i have had natasha bedingfield‘s album ‘unwritten’ for quite sometime – i would say over a year – and in that time it it has become one of my favorite pop albums out there (and she wrote the songs too – a big plus in my eyes) – it really grew on me – and i continue to still listen – so when i heard the album was due to be released here in the states – i was giddy – the album will do great here – and you probably have already heard some of her music here & there – the album hits stores this week – and i highly recommend giving natasha a listen – my personal favorite song is the title track ‘unwritten’ – it is overall a really great pop album – not to be missed plus with all of her success worldwide – i know natasha is gonna rock the states! so keep your ears & eyes open for the young siren below…popbytes out for now! gosh golly – i really think you guys are gonna like this album!!! xxoo

PS – yes she is the sister of singer daniel bedingfield (gotta get thru this) – but no matter to me – i’m not so keen on him – but his sister rules! so who cares!

Natasha Bedingfield has expeditiously become the biggest breakout female
star all around the world. The gorgeous and multi-talented
singer/songwriter’s self-penned debut album Unwritten has already spawned #1
hit singles in many countries and continents. And this summer, the U.S. will
get their chance to discover Natasha as she makes her anticipated debut for
Epic Records. The infectiously funky smash “These Words” will be the first
U.S. single release in April, having already hit #1 in the UK, Ireland,
Holland, Japan, Austria, Africa, France and New Zealand, just to name a few.

2004 was a whirlwind year for Natasha, closing with four coveted Brit
nominations in the categories of British Female Solo Artist, British
Breakthrough Artist, Pop Act and Best Single (These Words). The UK release
of Unwritten in September 2004 landed at #1 and by the second week it was
platinum (it is now triple platinum). And with every single set forth came a
Top 10 chart position for each (“Single,” “Unwritten” & “These Words” which
hit #1). Her latest UK single is entitled “I Bruise Easily.”

Hailing from South London via New Zealand, Natasha has indulged a decade
long passion for writing and singing by penning an album inspired by an
innate understanding of the international language of pop. Natasha’s lyrical
sass in life and song leads to instantly memorable pop songs. “I came from a
very musical family,” she shares, “even though I had different dreams as a
kid.”

Not only is Natasha the 3rd solo singer in UK history to debut at #1 (after
Annie Lennox and Bonnie Tyler) but Natasha and her famous brother Daniel
recently made it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the only brother
and sister to have solo number ones in UK chart history…
