oh my tori amos!

kids – i’m watching american idol – it’s monday – i’m having fun – but again – i just have to talk about tori amos – i purchased the limited edition of her latest album (which hit the billboard charts at #5 – go tori!) the beekeeper – and i was blown away – not only does it contain her latest sonic masterpiece – and that is exactly what it is a – a sheer sonic smart savvy brilliantly executed and produced (by tori!) masterpiece – the woman is brilliant – she divided the album into 6 themed ‘gardens’ (and the number 6 relates to the shape of the honeycomb – the hexagram – hence the title of the cd – the beekeeper) – the special edition also includes a dvd – which features tori talking about the album – plus a track that does not appear on the cd garlands – and it seriously enhanced the experience of her latest work as a whole – ok and then on top of a brilliant cd + dvd – it also contained a special packet of flower seeds – a carefully selected ‘beekeeper’ mix – that i so intend to plant in a flower box on my balcony – asap – it will be my mini tori garden (right now i have fresias blooming which smell so incredible!) – ok and then i secured a copy of tori’s new book piece by piece that she co-wrote with ann powers (a music critic for the ny times) and is a chronicle of tori’s experience – as first and foremost an artist – and then a musician – ok i keep trying to figure out why i love tori so – but i just can’t explain it – i swear popbytes has some implanted chip in his brain placed there by tori herself – maybe she is a sonic alien! (but the peaceful good kind) – she is simply my favorite – and if i were to be stranded on an island and could only pick one music to listen to forever – it would be tori – hands down – indigo girls come in a close second – god bless you girl – keep on, keep on – much love more than you know – popbytes out…and look at this gorgeous image of the goddess below!
