William and Kate’s Royal Wedding: Will you be watching?

Prince William and Kate Middleton

The big day is here … just hours from now Prince William and Kate Middleton will say their vows at the Royal Wedding in London’s Westminster Abbey! I’m totally curious to watch the wedding (which will be streaming on YouTube), I remember quite vividly watching Princess Diana tying the knot back in 1981 with Prince Charles, and I was only five-years-old! Of course there’s the fear that Kate will get hounded by the press like Diana (which ultimately led to her untimely death in 1997) but thankfully Ms. Middleton has much more knowledge about the royal family (she’s been dating William on and off for eight years) plus she’s ten years older than Di was at the time of her wedding. I think these two make an excellent couple, he’s fairly cute (Prince Harry is cuter), I think she’s gorgeous and seems to be quite intelligent! Hopefully they will be able to steer clear of any drama over the next couple of years, I wish them only the best of luck! Unfortunately for me, being on the west coast means the ceremony will air around 3AM local time, I might have to catch the repeat tomorrow. I also know the footage will be on media overload for the next few days, we’ll be sick of hearing about the wedding by the middle of next week. Earlier today the official programme was released on the wedding’s website, you can download it here (in .pdf format), and feel like you’ve been invited as a guest! I wonder if Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy will get hitched next?

We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives. The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness.
