Last week, I got it up to half-mast (and by “it”, I mean my level of excitement) for Lady Gaga appearing on the upcoming Muppets‘ holiday special (airing on Thanksgiving). Woohoo, I suppose. Well, now we actually have something to get really excited about, because according to Drag Official, the legendary RuPaul is also going to make an appearance on the special, and now my level of excitement is at full attention! (… Huh. Probably could have phrased that better …)
Lady Gaga is set to appear on a 90-minute special with the Muppets, her second one. Gaga will be performing songs from her new album, but the special will also feature duets from Sir Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and RuPaul!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go acquaint myself that nothing will ever be better than RuPaul performing with the Muppets and that everything here on out will pale by comparison. We have reached our highest highs as a society. The highest highs …
