In today’s “News you probably already knew but really just needed to be confirmed,” Kristin Cavallari has gone on the record to say that nearly every single little thing about The Hills was scripted. For those of you wondering: Yes, someone out there is literally dumb enough to have written the dialogue for The Hills. I used to look at them and think “You can’t write this kind of fucking stupid,” but apparently I was wrong.
“Almost all of it,” she told the site. “I think I can say that by now. I guess no one can get mad at me anymore.” Cavallari also says producers manipulated their footage to portray her in a negative light — and thinks it damaged her reputation. “They told me they weren’t going to do any of that stuff,” she said of her supposed hard-partying ways. Sure, you could say that the show was scripted, so why keep riffing on the stars? Well, it doesn’t really help that in real life, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge are boring as shit, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt really are horrible, soulless trash, and Kristin is a total bitch.
