Warren Beatty to make a big return to Hollywood!

Warren Beatty

Since 2001’s Town & Country, actor and director Warren Beatty has been missing in action. According to new information though, that’s all about to change. Beatty, 74, has been rumored to start a new Dick Tracy film for years now (as he holds the rights), but apparently he really is starting a new project, though not the sought after sequel. Paramount Pictures is set to be his new backing partner, and Beatty is to return after a ten year hiatus, in a big way, starring and directing in a new project he’s already scripted. Though there are no specific details as to what the piece may be about, Brad Grey, Paramount chairman, has only a gushing sentiment towards the matter, stating: “Warren’s script is quintessential Beatty, elegantly written and wonderfully entertaining. It is our privilege to have one of the great artists in the history of the film industry come home to Paramount.” Rumor is, the film will be a comedy. Though Beatty may be trying his hand at playing the Woody Allen card in his old age, either way, we’re waiting with baited breath.
