Finally after what seems like forever (I was getting worried), La Roux is back with a brand-new single—more than a few years overdue, the band’s debut album was released back in 2009. It’s called “Let Me Down Gently,” and thankfully Elly Jackson has never sounded better—especially after revealing vocal problems. The fantastic mid-tempo track is a perfect return to the scene choice—also serving as the lead single off the band’s upcoming sophomore album Trouble in Paradise, due out July 8th. I’m expecting the second single to be a total pop smash along the lines of “Bulletproof” or “In For The Kill.” Don’t miss out on La Roux’s highly-anticpated return to the scene with a completely stellar song!
