The collective of hackers, known as Anonymous, successfully broke into the database of German movie studio Constantin, acquiring tons of secret information about upcoming projects. For one, as per a report by THR, the group claims to have unearthed files confirming a long-standing rumor that Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame will be playing the female lead in the 50 Shades of Grey movie, Anastasia Steele.
On one hand, this movie will probably make a bajillion dollars because if the Twilight series has taught us anything, it’s that people will pay out the ass to see movies based on terrible books, so being the face of a huge movie like that would probably do wonders for her career. On the other hand, no matter how talented the cast is, nothing can salvage an adaptation of anything as bad as 50 Shades of Grey. Sad panda. Sad, sad panda.
