indigo girls – live at the el rey!

hey hey! i had to do a quick post about the indigo girls – i had the pleasure of seeing them again in concert this past thursday evening at the el rey down on wilshire (i’ve lost count but this was around the 26th time i’ve seen ’em play live) i freaked out because the date of their los angeles show somehow slipped my mind – i
almost didn’t get to go – since it was completely sold-out and the guest list was pretty full but thankfully i found someone who was able to get me on the list at the very last minute (you know who you are – i seriously owe you big time!) as per always amy ray and emily saliers put on an AMAZING show – the setlist was incredible – a great mixture of their new and old material (which included classics like galileo, closer to fine, shame on you, and power of two) and everyone sang along – that’s the wonderful thing about seeing them play live – everyone totally gets into the show – hands down they’re one of the best acts to see live (hence the reason i’ve seen them so many times) if you check out their myspace page – you’ll find listings for the rest of their shows in support of their spectacular new album poseidon and the bitter bug (which i featured here on popbytes not too long ago) if you have the opportunity to go to one of their shows – you can’t pass it up! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo

PS the video below of galileo is from their show in madison, wisconsin on april 30th!
