Justin Bieber went to Anne Frank’s house …

Anne Frank was a teenage Jew living in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam during World War II who was ultimately discovered and killed in a concentration camp. Justin Bieber is … well, perhaps not the best person to try and associate what that must have been like. So when he ended up visiting Anne Frank’s house, well, this happened:

Yesterday night Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House, together with his friends and guards. Fans were waiting outside to see a glimpse of him. He stayed more than an hour in the museum. In our guestbook he wrote: “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

So. Yeah. Anyone else kinda feel like that was totally not what anyone should have wrote in there? I’ll give the kid the benefit of the doubt here, in that maybe he wrote that with the best intentions, but WOW. Super inappropriate.
