Well, behold your future: A young girl who ended up sitting next to Justin Bieber at a basketball game ended up getting interviewed by Seventeen magazine, and not only did she reveal that Justin was just an absolute treat to sit next to, but he also turned into a paranoid creeper who kept looking at her phone to make sure she wasn’t talking about him.
“The only words that he said to me the whole game were to scoot over when he sat down,” she said. After photographers snagged shots of the two inadvertently sharing an armrest between seats, several major media sites dubbed Haleigh “Justin’s mystery date.” Justin’s dedicated Beliebers didn’t take well to the news or circulating photos. A few hours of research produced Haleigh’s name and links to her Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Some sent threatening messages or bashed her on Twitter. Haleigh’s maintained a good sense of humor throughout the chaos, posting a photo that shows Justin apparently peeking over her shoulder while she’s on her phone with the caption, “Creeping on my texts, Biebs?”
So basically, Justin got plucked from obscurity and turned into an overnight pop sensation, and now he’s a paranoid douche. Sure you still want to be famous? Because so far, no one who ever became a celebrity turned out a rational person in the end. All of a sudden, being a happily well-adjusted nobody seems a lot better by comparison doesn’t it?
