Lana Del Rey’s first show in Los Angeles!

Lana Del Rey

Just last Wednesday night I was able to be present for rising star Lana Del Rey‘s very first show here in Los Angeles held at the Troubadour. We have been huge fans of Lana’s ever since her beautiful and haunting track Video Games dropped a couple of months ago which quickly became a huge online sensation! I’m very happy to report after some skepticism (there’s a whole back story which I won’t get into now) that Lana is in fact the real deal, she was spectacular live – a mesmerizing, gorgeous and slightly aloof chanteuse who took my breath away! Of course she was a drop on the green side as a performer (a bit shy, possibly taken back by her own explosion) but I know after she gets a few more shows under her belt, she’s going to be stellar, watch some video I shot during the show below!

This marks our 10th post about Lana here on PopBytes (even landing her own category) which is pretty damn amazing considering her debut album, Born To Die, isn’t dropping until the end of January! After tickets to her show sold out in literally seconds, I was worried about not attending (especially since it was bound to be a historical show) but thanks to one of my best contacts, a ticket came through just a few hours before she was due on stage, a total blessing which I won’t soon forget. If you don’t know Lana yet, no worries, she’s going to be a huge star, something I would easily bet money on, mark my words!

Set List:
• Born To Die
• Blue Jeans
• Radio
• Million Dollar Man
• Video Games
• Summertime Sadness
• You Can Be The Boss
• Off To The Races
