Since Lindsay Lohan is about as likely to see the inside of a jail cell as she is to see a script anytime soon, Lindsay decided to skip on a plea deal that involved jail time over her jewelry theft after the store decided to cash their chips and pawn off the surveillance footage. Good to know that all you have to do to dodge jail time in L.A. is win a Razzie.
Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer and the prosecutor have left the judge’s chambers … and TMZ has learned there will not be a plea deal. We’re told LiLo’s attorney Shawn Holley wanted to see what sentence the judge would hand down if Lindsay pled guilty to felony grand theft. As TMZ first reported, prosecutor Danette Meyers wanted Lindsay to get 6 months in jail, but Holley was hoping the judge would make a better offer. Apparently that didn’t happen. SOURCE
Well, that pretty much settles it: Lindsay will avoid any and all jail time, a couple stories about possible comeback roles for her will surface, she’ll steal/snort/drink/murder something she shouldn’t have and end up going to court again and we can all repeat the cycle all over again. Don’t believe me? I give her three months before Lindsay’s back making a mockery of the court system while I do the “I told you so” dance.
