Lindsay Lohan’s parents may join her for therapy?

Lindsay, Michael and Dina Lohan

It’s pretty much universally agreed upon that the root of Lindsay Lohan‘s problems are her parents, both of whom have failed at even the most basic principles of raising a kid in the most spectacular ways possible. So of course, The Betty Ford Center is trying to bring in Michael Lohan and Dina Lohan so that they can they can all get some family therapy. Come back tomorrow when the three of them escape from Betty Ford and go on a drunken cross-country crime spree. RadarOnline reports …

“Families are encouraged to participate in group therapy,” a source confirmed. “Lindsay’s counselors want to get Dina and Michael to Betty Ford for a series of sessions in the next few weeks. They feel like having her work through her family issues could help Lindsay’s recovery.” When contacted for comment, Dina dismissed the suggestion and railed against the father of her four children. She said: “Where did you hear that from? News to me! I have a warrant for child support against him… he owes thousands in back child support.”

You gotta love how Dina can try and claim that Lindsay doesn’t need therapy then show exactly why Lindsay desperately needs family therapy all in the same breath. Actually, now that I think about it, this would explain a lot about Lindsay, wouldn’t it? “I don’t need rehab! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to fly across the country to escape my court-ordered rehab because they won’t let me smoke. Has anybody seen my Adderall?”
