As Lindsay Lohan pulls the Lohan Comeback Train 2012 out of the truck she ran it into, it seems LiLo is riding it into the successful movie career she deserves because she’s a talented actress and her role in Liz & Dick isn’t just stunt casting. Which is why she’s starring in a movie opposite straight porn star James Deen, a man who appears to be made of puppy dog smiles and sunshine lollipops. Seriously, he’s adorable. Sorry LiLo, but you’re about to be upstaged by weaponized cuteness. E! Online reports:
The film is The Canyons, a contemporary thriller that documents “five twentysomethings’ quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood” and is written by American Psycho‘s Bret Easton Ellis. It was Ellis himself who first broke news of Lindsay’s casting on Twitter.
“James Deen and Lindsay Lohan have been cast in The Canyons,” he wrote in the first of a series of tweets retweeted by Lindsay. “And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in The Canyons by BEE.”
“Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it.”
And by “it”, he means “the casting director”. But in all seriousness, you know your career is in a weird place when you’re starring opposite a porn star, and he is more likely to have a stable, long-lasting career in Hollywood than you. I mean, just … LOOK AT HIM. He looks like what would happen if a Pound Puppy were human!
