The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards are fast approaching (August 25th), which is both good and bad: Good, because they tend to be hilariously deranged and they usually give me material to write about for days. The bad news is that they also mark the end of summer, and as much as I won’t miss sunburns and humidity, Canada tends to go nuclear winter on a bitch and it’s way depressing. Anyway, Miley Cyrus filmed a TV spot to hype the upcoming awards (taking place in Brooklyn this year), which features her in a subway tunnel partying while a busker plays her song on a ukulele. No, I have no idea if ukuleles are still in. Just to be safe, I’ve already moved on to theremins.
