oh this is a total bummer (especially on a monday) over the weekend lily allen (age 25) played her last gig in london ‘for some time’ … apparently she’s taking a break from making music to focus on ‘higher priorties’ (like starting a family with her boyfriend sam cooper) for five years! seriously, that’s way too long to wait for her third album (lily’s first two albums are stellar!) hopefully she’ll end up changing her mind because by the time five years pass, most people will be asking lily allen who?! :*(
Playing before Jay-Z was Lily Allen – who looked gorgeous in a white flowing jumpsuit. The brunette singer – who has recently said she will take a five-year-break from music to concentrate on her ‘higher priorities’, like having children – told fans that they might not be seeing her on stage in the near future.
“I appreciate that you were jumping up and down because this is probably my last gig in London for some time,” she told the crowds at the Wireless Festival. In fact there were rumours Lily may already be trying for a baby with her 31-year-old boyfriend Sam Cooper, after she was spotted drinking only water and refraining from smoking while she was on stage.
