P!nk was in concert yesterday doing some more of those amazingly trippy ribbon acrobatics she did at the Grammys when things … Well, they didn’t go too great. Due to a poorly clipped in harness, our beloved P!nk ended up taking a tumble into a barricade, which I think we can all agree is terrible, since she’s pretty much one of the last few talented artists out there. Why couldn’t it have been Ke$ha?!
Pink fell out of her harness while performing in Germany Thursday night and was rushed from the stage into an ambulance, Gossip Cop reports. The singer is tweeting from the hospital and seems to be doing okay.
“To all my nurnberg fans – I am so so so sorry to end the show that way. I am embarassed and very sorry. I’m in ambulance now but I will b fine,” she wrote. “didn’t get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays. I hope it at least looked cool!!!” SOURCE
Why are the cool things usually the most dangerous? Like sky diving. Or chainsaw juggling. Anyway, the good news is that I’m pretty sure P!nk might be part cyborg anyway, so I don’t think she’ll be in too much pain. On the down side: Holy shit, did you see that? It was like one of those human slingshot rides at ‘Six Flags’. It would almost be fun if it weren’t so potentially life-threatening!
