actor al lewis best known for his role on the munsters ( which aired 1964-66) passed away today at the very ripe age of 95 – he was always quite the character and ‘grandpa’ was one of the best things about that oh so lovable ‘munster’ family – al was even a political candidate at the age of 90 when he ran on the green party ticket against ny gov. george pataki! plus he also ran a successful restaurant in greenwich village appropriately called ‘grandpa’s’ – he certainly knew how to keep himself busy! his spirit & high energy will surely be missed! popbytes out for now…
