Kathy Griffin was on Chelsea Lately last night to promote VH1 Divas Salute The Troops, when she was asked about her joke about Bristol Palin and how Pillsbury Doughgirl was all up in arms on Facebook over one fucking joke out of an entire night.
“I think it’s ironic that somebody would call me a bully, when there’s a big difference between being a comedian and bullying — it’s our job,” she said. For her part on the matter, Handler called the remark, “Hilarious.”
“Bullying — I hate that word, bullying, but I didn’t know people were calling us that — is being a bully to someone who’s defenseless, a poor little person who’s done nothing wrong, not the people who are a——-!” she said on the show Thursday. SOURCE
Want to know how I know that Bristol Palin is full of shit here? Consider this: Out of the entire night, Kathy made fun of … I dunno, how many people? A lot. Exactly. Of course, Bristol decides to only call Kathy a bully when she’s the one being made fun, because as we all know, bad things are only bad when they’re happening to you.
