Because the internet firmly believes that a male and female celebrity cannot talk without immediately hooking up, rumors started going around yesterday that Jared Leto and Taylor Swift were an item after a picture of them talking was posted on Marlow Stern‘s Instagram. To be fair, Jared seems exactly like Taylor’s type: A sexy, older rocker who quite clearly isn’t compatible with her personality. Perfect fodder for another breakup anthem. Anyway, the rumor has been shot down, so don’t expect Taylor to come out with a song called “Jared Leto Can Shove His Stupid Trophy Up His Own Ass” anytime soon.
