tori amos does los angeles (and KCRW)

good evening! so last night i was at the greek theatre (a lovely outdoor venue here in los angeles nestled inside of griffith park) catching tori amos on her sinful attraction tour – of course tori put on an amazing show like she always does (for those of you who have seen her before … you know exactly what i’m talking about) the set list borrowed heavily from her previous albums and out of a total of 22 songs – she only played four from her latest release abnormally attracted to sin – i was thrilled when she played marys of the sea (from the beekeeper), space dog and icicle (from under the pink) … just a few of my favorite tracks! (you can read more about the show and see some pictures & video over on undented) there’s nothing i can really say about ms. amos that i haven’t said before on popbytes – she’s beyond brilliant and will forever be the consummate musician … if i were stranded on a deserted island and could only pick one artist’s catalog (i could never pick just one album) to keep me company – without the slightest doubt i would have to choose tori amos!

while in LA – ms. amos took a little time out to stop by KCRW in santa monica this past thursday to play a few tracks and answer a couple of questions (on morning becomes eclectic with host jason bentley) watch the video below! anyways i hope y’all are having a kick-ass weekend so far – this morning i went up to malibu (unfortunately i didn’t spot cher) for a little beach time (at point dume) although the water was super cold – i actually went in and it was really refreshing plus i spotted dolphins and sea lions from the shore! tomorrow i’m meeting up with a few peeps who i haven’t seen in ages – i can’t wait! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
