I’ve never actually seen a single episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but since I already watch The Soup, I don’t really have to watch her show to know that Kim Richards‘ role is basically that of a problem alcoholic, among other things. So it really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that now Kim is finally admitting that she’s an alcoholic (and just completed a stint in rehab), while the rest of the world just nods their heads slowly and goes “aaaaaaaaaaand?” Access Hollywood reports:
“I’m an alcoholic,” Kim tells Andy Cohen in a preview clip of the upcoming reunion episode. “I’m an alcoholic.” The 47-year-old, who began treatment for alcohol abuse in December, was not part of the group reunion episodes with co-stars Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, sister Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump, but the ladies of the 90210 offered up their support and observations on Kim and her behavior during the season. “I think we were all aware that something was off, but we didn’t know quite what it was. It was very difficult to try and ascertain,” Lisa said in a preview clip when asked if she knew Kim was struggling. “I think she wouldn’t have gone without really needing to be there. She obviously has to sort something out.”
Is it just me, or does Kim have the worst friends possible? She walks around like it’s always 3 o’clock in the morning and they announced last call, everything she said was mumbled incoherently, and I’m pretty sure most people could smell the booze coming off of her through their television. And the best her fellow housewives can offer is “Well, we knew something was off, but we didn’t know what it could be!” Holy crap, these women are morons.
